Why do we do things? It informs every decision we make, however microscopic. And yes, it can even be good or bad.
So how do we choose? For instance, it is eleven at night right now and I want to be in bed, but I also want to blog regularly, so I am up typing and wondering why I am so motivated.
It could bebecause it is day two of a new year (hence bragging rights like: "I have blogged every day this year!" And other like, epic things.) It could be because I am very self disciplined (HA) or maybe it is because while I procrastinated this activity, all day I knew it needed to get done. It was and it is a priority.
Why is blogging a priority? Because I am on break, and it can be.
That is the thing about priorities and time management: they change. And that is okay. I once heard it like this. Youbare like a juggler and the things you choose to do are balls...it occurs to me that I have used this metaphor before...negatives of sleepy inspiration (if you don't know it look it up)
Choose, don't let the choice be made for you by default.
You know this whole thing with priorities also relates to yesterday's post about words. Why we talk might help us talk.
Anyway that is all I can manage for now, so g'night! Get some sleep and be purposeful.
