Today I took a test. So test taking is on my mind. Here are the steps that I took:
- Start early, studying at a snail's pace, because you may be slightly distracted with creative pursuits
- Realize your study buddy, is sooooo much faster, because she is focused
- Try to emulate
- End up making beautiful notes
- Realize you still don't know anything
- Procrastinate while taking numerous online quizzes
- It is the week before the test THERE IS NO MORE TIME
- You begin carrying around PowerPoints like a purse, everywhere, the gym, outside, just everywhere
- Have clinicals and sneak peaks at notes when your patient is sleeping
- Be exhausted
- Try to feebly watch lectures online
- Go to bed, mumbling normal ranges of electrolytes
- Get up, frantic, reviewing notes over breakfast
- Drive to class
- Listen to the lecture before the test
ha, just kidding - Panic
- Take the Test
- Feel confident
- Talk to other students
- Feel like you failed
- Listen to post-test lecture
ha, still kidding - Go home
- Feel empty, confused and anxious
- Should you study? Or party?
- Have flashbacks to questions on the test
- Diagnose your self as having PTSD (Post Test Stress Disorder)
- Check for grades
- Check for grades
- Check for grades
- Check for grades
- Check for grades
- Finally check YOUR grade
