Breathe. One deep breath sucking air inside and let the air whoosh back. Repeat. Repeat. Be thankfully that most of the time you don't have to think about breathing.
Why this Public Service announcement about respiration? Because I am trying to calm down. I am trying to remember how it feels to be calm.
Tonight I made a mistake. Not life-altering awful, but still there all the same. And it came after weeks, months really of pushing myself. Faster, harder, stronger. Internally my goals were high.
I failed. Screwed up. Publiclly
Now I remember. I can not do this. I can not do anything.
Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
So take a breath.
